Brendan designed and fabricated a series of walk-up kaleidoscope installations for WinkWorld's immersive art experience in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during Riyadh Season 2022.
Each piece is a steel-and-glass enclosure — some triangular, some rectangular — with a mirrored kaleidoscope chamber built into the top. Visitors peer into the opening and see themselves multiplied across infinite reflections, their image fractured and reassembled by the mirror geometry.
The enclosures are built to exhibition standards — powder-coated steel frames, tempered glass panels, with the mirrored kaleidoscope chambers in birch plywood on top. DMX-controlled lighting inside the chambers allows the visual effect to shift in color and intensity throughout the day.
